Dear PSR Families,

St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, “Keep the joy of loving God in your heart and share this joy with all you meet, especially your family.”  As conscientious parents, you are serious about your children growing strong in the Catholic faith.  Mary, Mother of the Church Parish School of Religion is privileged to support you in sharing the love of God with your children.

The PSR program is designed to assist families of children in grades 1 through 8 attending public school in their religious education.  The cirriculum presents the teachings of the Catholic Church using age-appropriate materials.  PSR sessions are for one-hour from 6:30-7:30 pm on Monday or Wedensday evening; or you may choose to home-school.  Because second and eighth grades are sacremental years, the children in these grades benefit attending in-person calsses for sacramental preparation.
 
Please return the registration form as soon as possible so we can reserve a place for your child(ren)
in our PSR program.  PSR Open House and Ice Cream Social is on Sunday, September 11 after the
11:00 a.m. Mass and PSR sessions will begin on September 12/14.

Enclosed with the registration form is a tentative 2021-2022 PSR calendar.

The Parish School of Religion provides our parish children with a regular means to grow in faith and love. PSR sessions meet weekly from September through early May.

If you would like to volunteer to teach a PSR session, or to substitute teach on an as-needed basis, please contact the Director of Faith Formation.
